Child Development Center, Inc., a non-profit agency, is committed to providing the highest quality education and therapeutic services in an atmosphere of dignity, respect, and caring.
Our Child Development Center is a 5-star child care facility that serves children from 2-5 years of age in ten different classrooms including three NC Pre-K classrooms. Children may apply at anytime during the school year provided that they are at least 2 years old. Each classroom has one teacher and one teacher assistant with no more than 12 students per class. CDC has on staff speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists.
All lead teachers hold a North Carolina Teaching License. Assistants hold a North Carolina Early Childhood Credential or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. CDC serves typically developing students as well as those with developmental delays. Your child will enjoy free well balanced snacks and lunch, as we participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Child Development Center follows the New Hanover County Schools NC Pre-K Calendar (please click on the calendar for details). Our academic day program runs Monday-Friday from 7:30 am-2:30 pm with Aftercare available from 2:30 pm-5:30 pm for working parents.
